This visa scheme has been enforced from 2012 in order to train global talents equipped with a world view while enhancing friendly relations between the Republic of Korea and UK through the exchange of youths. The visa holder may stay for study, part-time work, or travel in the UK for up to two years.

Visa Requirements
- The Tier 5 (Youth Mobility Scheme) visa is only available for single use, with successful applicants unable to apply for this visa when it has been granted previously.
This visa is only available to those from the selected countries - Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Monaco, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Republic of Korea.
To be eligible applicants must be aged 18 – 30 and have £1890 in savings.

Conditions of Stay
- Successful applicants will be free to undertake any type of employment throughout their stay in the UK with the exception of self-employment subject to certain exceptions, working as a professional sportsperson or as a doctor in training.
Visa holders may also engage in privately funded studies, voluntary work and au pair placements.

Length of Stay
- Applicants who are granted residence under the Tier 5 - Youth Mobility Scheme are allowed to live and work in the UK.
This visa is granted for two (2) years and no further or subsequent grant can be made under this category.
