According to the World Bank statistics, the total number of immigrants worldwide increased 1.6 times from 150 million (2.9% of the entire world population) in 1990 to 240 million (3.3% of the entire world population) in 2015. Family of British citizens and settled persons are not automatically given the right to reside in the UK.
